Getting started

Setup guide.
20 minutes to perfect sleep.

Follow these steps in order. Most customers are up and sleeping on their first night. If anything goes wrong, we’re a message away.

Everything you need is included.

SleepHub control unit
Water-circulating mattress pad
Removable Cover
Fitted sheet base
COOL cover
Summer
WARM cover
Winter
Air pump / water drain kit
Auto-drain kit
User manual & quick-start guide
Pad storage bag

You’ll need water for the initial fill — bottled (mineral) water is recommended. Tap water is also acceptable and will not affect performance.

Six steps.
Follow in order.

1

Make the bed

Fit the included fitted sheet over your mattress as normal. Lay the water-circulating pad flat on top, with the connector side positioned near the foot of the bed. Do not kink or fold the hose.

Choose your cover for the season — COOL cover for summer, WARM cover for winter. Fit the chosen cover over the pad. For Queen/King sizes, align the L and R markings on the pad to the correct sides before fitting the cover.

Align the SleepHub and pad at the same height during installation to ensure smooth water circulation.
2

Connect the Easy Connector

Before connecting, press the buttons on the SleepHub connector ports to remove the protective caps. Place the SleepHub at the foot of the bed with at least 30cm clearance from walls, exhaust outlet facing away from the bed.

Push the Easy Connector firmly into the port until you hear an audible click. Make sure the product is fully assembled before proceeding.

If the hose is bent or folded, circulation issues may occur — resulting in insufficient heating or noise. Keep the hose straight.
3

Connect power and turn on

Connect the power cord and plug into a standard 120V outlet. Wait 2–3 seconds after plugging in — then press the Power button once. Do not hold.

On first use, a Low Water Error code (Er 02) will appear on the display and the water level indicator will flash. This is completely normal — the reservoir is empty. Proceed to Step 4.

4

Fill with water

Turn the water inlet cap counterclockwise to open. Slowly add clean mineral or tap water while watching the water level indicator. Repeat 2–3 times to allow water to circulate fully into the pad. Close the cap securely when done. Do not fill above the internal safety mesh.

Recommended fill amounts: King approx. 1,500 ml · Queen approx. 1,350 ml · Full / Single approx. 1,050 ml.

Bottled (mineral) water or tap water only. No groundwater, saltwater, detergents, chemicals, or oils.
5

Select mode and set temperature

Touch and hold the Mode Selection button to choose your mode. Then use the +/– buttons to set your desired temperature.

  • WARM mode (winter): 82°F–113°F (28°C–45°C)
  • COOL¹ mode (summer): 64°F–95°F (18°C–35°C)
First-time use: try WARM at 95°F or COOL¹ at 86°F. Adjust 1°F at a time over your first few nights. Note: auto shut-off activates after 15 hours of continuous operation.
6

Download the app and pair

Download the Navien app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account and tap “Add device.”

To activate Wi-Fi mode on the SleepHub: with the unit powered on, touch and hold the Volume button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks. Follow the in-app registration steps. When the display reaches 99, registration is complete.

Use your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network — 5 GHz is not supported. Display stuck at 25? Check your router password. Stuck at 50? Check your internet connection.

What you can do from the app

Scheduled operation

Set the SleepHub to pre-cool or pre-warm your bed on a weekly schedule — by day of week and time.

Sleep analysis

Daily and monthly sleep analysis reports. AI Sleep Mode adjusts temperature in real time based on your sleep stage. Review results each morning.

Dual-zone control

(Queen/King) Each zone independently controlled. Your partner manages their side from the same app on their own device.

Push notifications

Water refill reminders when the level is low, auto stop timer alerts, and error notifications sent directly to your phone.

Full remote control

Monitor water level, adjust both zones, trigger UV sanitizing cycles on demand — all from anywhere.

Troubleshooting
Er 02 error on startup
Normal on first use — reservoir is empty. Fill with water (Step 4) and the error clears automatically.
Pump noise louder than expected
Air in the loop — common on first use. Let it run 10 minutes and the sound will level out as air purges.
App won’t find the unit
Hold Volume button 5 seconds until Wi-Fi lamp blinks. Confirm 2.4 GHz network. Unplug and reconnect after 10 seconds.
Temperature not reaching setpoint
Check reservoir level first — low water reduces thermal capacity. Allow extra time on first use to stabilize.
Condensation forming on the pad
Normal in humid environments at low COOL¹ settings. Enable Condensation Prevention Mode — hold Timer button 2 seconds or toggle in the app.
