This notice supplements Navien OptiSleep's Privacy Policy and applies to residents of California. Navien OptiSleep complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from:

- Optional application features you enable (e.g., sleep-related functionality)
- Analytics and attribution tools
- Advertising and marketing technologies
- Affiliate and referral tracking systems
- Consent and preference management platforms
Sharing of Personal Information
We disclose personal information to service providers and third parties that support:
- analytics and attribution
- advertising and marketing
- referral and affiliate tracking
- customer feedback and reviews
- customer communications
These entities process personal information on our behalf or for permitted business purposes pursuant to contractual obligations.
We may disclose Personal Information to our parent company and affiliates, including our parent company located in Korea, for product quality and performance analysis, customer feedback or VOC analysis, technical support, troubleshooting, service improvement, product development, security, warranty support, and related business purposes.
Personal Information disclosed for these purposes may include masked user IDs and email addresses, product model information, configured and achieved temperature information, operating and seasonal modes, and feature activation or usage status. These disclosures are made for the business and operational purposes described above and are not made for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The information disclosed to our parent company in Korea for these purposes does not include underlying sleep-measurement data, breathing or audio-derived signals, inferred sleep information, or precise geolocation data.
II. Business and Commercial Purposes
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Processing orders, payments, shipping, returns, and warranties
- Providing customer service and responding to inquiries
- Sending communications and marketing messages (subject to opt-out)
- Operating, maintaining, and improving our products, applications, and services
- Providing optional application features, including sleep-related functionality
- Conducting analytics and product development
- Detecting and preventing fraud and security incidents
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
- Analyzing product settings, configured and achieved temperature information, operating and seasonal modes, product usage patterns, and feature activation or usage rates
- Conducting product quality and performance analysis, customer feedback or VOC analysis, troubleshooting, service improvement, and product development, including through Navien's parent company and affiliates
III. Your California Privacy Rights
Under California law, you have the following rights:

Sale and Sharing Disclosure
Navien OptiSleep does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation.
We do not share sleep-related information, breathing or audio-derived signals, precise geolocation, configured or achieved temperature information, feature activation or usage status, VOC information, or product diagnostic information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Disclosures of masked account identifiers and product-use information to our parent company and affiliates for product quality analysis, VOC analysis, troubleshooting, service improvement, and product development are not made for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may exercise your right to opt out of such sharing by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link available on our website or through our consent management tool.
IV. Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We use sensitive personal information only:
- to provide requested services
- to support application functionality you enable
- for security, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes
We do not use sensitive personal information for advertising purposes.
V. Automated Processing
We use automated processing in connection with certain optional application features (such as temperature adjustments based on usage patterns).
These processes:
- are designed to enhance product functionality and user comfort
- do not produce legal or similarly significant effects
VI. Retention of Personal Information
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:
- fulfill the purposes described above
- comply with legal obligations
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements
Information from optional application features may be retained until service termination or withdrawal of consent, subject to legal requirements.
VII. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by California law.

Verification
We may request information such as your name, email, address, and California residency status to verify your request.
Response Timing
We will respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where permitted by law.
You may submit up to two Right to Know requests within a 12-month period.
IX. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will receive the same level and quality of service regardless of your choices.
