This notice supplements Navien OptiSleep's Privacy Policy and applies to residents of California. Navien OptiSleep complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Sale and Sharing Disclosure

Navien OptiSleep does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation.

However, we may share certain personal information (including identifiers, device information, and Internet activity) with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising and analytics purposes. Under California law, this may be considered sharing.

You may exercise your right to opt out of such sharing by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link available on our website or through our consent management tool.

IV. Use of Sensitive Personal Information

We use sensitive personal information only:

  • to provide requested services
  • to support application functionality you enable
  • for security, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes

We do not use sensitive personal information for advertising purposes.

V. Automated Processing

We use automated processing in connection with certain optional application features (such as temperature adjustments based on usage patterns).

These processes:

  • do not produce legal or similarly significant effects

We may request information such as your name, email, address, and California residency status to verify your request.

Response Timing
We will respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where permitted by law.

You may submit up to two Right to Know requests within a 12-month period.

IX. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will receive the same level and quality of service regardless of your choices.
